Operated by OVERSE Inc., NIDT (Nippon Idol Token) aims to integrate Web3 technology into Japan’s idol culture and create new fan experiences.
The project was launched with the involvement of key members connected to Yasushi Akimoto, in collaboration with crypto asset exchange operators such as Coinbook.
Currently, two idol units are active under the project: WHITE SCORPION and Rain Tree.
NIDT focuses primarily on real-world idol activities, while gradually incorporating Web3 elements to pursue co-creation. Key initiatives include:
NIDT Holder-Exclusive Live Events
Exclusive live events are held for NIDT holders, with a “fan rank” system tied to token ownership and usage. Depending on holding volume and usage frequency, fans are assigned ranks such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with Platinum offering the highest level of privileges.
Integration with NFTs
Purchasing specific digital bromide NFTs grants tickets for individual handshake events, while collectible NFTs of varying rarity are distributed randomly after the events—bridging digital and real experiences.
Premium Experiences
High-priced NFT purchasers gain access to special experiences, such as the right to meet members first or take two-shot photos, establishing a tiered monetization system aligned with fan enthusiasm.
